As our name implies, prospective homebuyers are charged an hourly rate for all services required during the course of a standard real estate transaction.

You’re probably wondering why homebuyers would pay an hourly rate for our services when other real estate agents don’t charge anything for theirs?

Real Estate By The Hour agents are paid only for the hours they work while homebuyers receive a rebate/check for the entire sellers side commission (e.g. 3% of purchase price*), less the total amount of hours billed. This allows homebuyers to control how much of the agents time they utilize in search of a home, and ultimately how much of the sellers-side commission they’ll receive at closing.

The difference can add up to be thousands or tens of thousands of dollars at closing depending upon the time spent and the purchase price of your home.
